This page explains what cookies Woven Trends uses, what each one is for, and how to change your mind at any time.
The short version
Nothing that tracks you runs until you say yes. When you first arrive we ask, and until you answer, only the cookies that keep the shop working are set. Advertising and analytics scripts are genuinely held back — not merely asked to behave — so choosing Reject all really does stop them loading.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between one page and the next — what is in your basket, whether you are signed in, which currency you chose. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels do much the same job, and everything on this page applies to those as well.
The three groups we use
Strictly necessary
These make the shop function and cannot be switched off. They remember the contents of your basket, keep you signed in to your account, protect forms against abuse, hold your currency choice, and record the cookie decision you made on this site. They do not track you across other websites and they are not used for advertising.
Analytics — off until you allow it
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they leave. We use them to work out what to fix. The reporting is aggregated: it tells us that a page loses people, not who those people are.
We use Google Analytics for this. Google’s tag is present on the page but operates in a restricted mode until you consent, in which it does not store identifiers or read cookies on your device.
Marketing — off until you allow it
These let us measure whether an advert led to a sale, and show you Woven Trends products after you have visited. They involve sharing data with the advertising platform concerned. This group covers Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest, Google Ads and similar services.
If you have not consented, these scripts are not loaded at all. Nothing is requested from those companies and nothing is sent to them.
How your choice is stored
Your decision is kept in a first-party cookie named woven_consent on your own device, for 180 days. It records which groups you allowed, when you decided and which version of this notice you saw. After 180 days, or if you clear your browser data, we ask again.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings control in the corner of any page. It is there on every page, not just this one, and you can turn any group back off as easily as you turned it on. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking; it does not undo data already collected while consent was in place.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the basket and checkout working.
Your rights
Where cookies collect personal data, UK GDPR gives you the right to see what we hold, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
